Just thought I'd give you guys an update to let you know that I have not died, although I am sorry for the lack of art recently - I had been planning to do more this summer but since I've had to do so much work-experience, a couple of family holidays, and revise for an exam at the end of the summer.. I've been struggling to find time to pick up a pencil.
But don't worry I still have the list of all the requested drawings that I said I'd get round to, and some of them have been sketched out and are just ready to colour. Unfortunately I'm still not taking any more requests at the mo due to the shear number of them and I cant cope!
However you can expect a bit more activity in the near future - I've been inspired by my recent trip to South Africa to do lots more drawings of African wildlife, and I may put up some of my African photography too. As I spent two weeks working at African Dawn Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary, I've been able to get up close to plenty of animals to snap some good photos
...despite the fact that my camera fell out my pocket whilst climbing a sand-dune on horse-back at the beach at Jefferys Bay, and the horse behind stood on it- I had thought it was broken beyond repair as it refused to turn on, but as soon as I was back in the UK it started working perfectly normally again... except it makes a funny crunchy noise when you turn it off/on. Raging that the camera decided it was fine only AFTER I'd left Africa and was back in (not so) sunny England. Its so rainy I swear if I went outside at the moment I'd be drier if I jumped in a swimming pool

Hey, I thought I'd give you guys an update seeing as it has been about two years since I last wrote a journal entry!
Sorry for the severe lack of artwork over the past few years - I've really struggled to find the time due to my vet studies. I'm now in my final year of vet school, so hopefully when I graduate in the summer I will have a little bit more spare time. At the moment in my free time I feel guilty if i'm not studying or doing something work-related.... which really sucks, but the end is in sight!
This Christmas I've had a whole two weeks off work, so I've managed to do another watercolour painting of my dog Ben. I am still planning on doing a Lion/Jay/Holly colour-pencil drawing, for those who asked me to do one (sorry its a couple of years late!!!)
Thanks for still watching me even after all the months of inactivity!

I'm BACK!!!! sorry for such a long break - Uni's taken over my life recently, but now i've passed my exams I'm back for the summerrrr 
..so yeah, expect to see more art from me over the next couple of months
I've noticed I've been rather down on the photography side of art recently.. I think it's my lack of visiting exciting and exotic places... but dont worry - later in the summer I'm going to visit places such as France, ORKNEY, Thailand, India and Malaysia.. so hopefully I'll get back with some photography artyness for you all
ALSO now I'm back Ive made a decision - due to the sheer number of them, requests for me to draw Warriors characters are now CLOSED!!!! sorry guys but I'm never going to get round to completing them all otherwise - I've still got work to complete that people have asked for over a year ago... I feel pretty bad
but dont worry! all the people who requested stuff before this date will be on my list and i will get round to completing them - I'm just not taking new requests.
I may later open up to requests again, and I will let you know if I do, but at the moment my life has become too busy.. However I may do requests for other animals if people wish

I'M GOING TO BE A VET!

I'VE BEEN OFFERED A PLACE AT GLASGOW UNI VET SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yepyepyep I managed to get the grades (two A*'s and an A) so in less than two weeks time I shall be oficially leaving home!
Reeeeeeally scary thought 
but I really cannot wait to be studying veterinary medicine
However the bad news is that I probably wont have much time to concentrate on my art while at uni. I'm going to try and finish all the requested art before I go - but I doubt I will make it in time - dot worry though! all requests will be completed eventually... but will definatly become slower after I go. However I will not be accepting any new requests until further notice - I want to try and get on top of them all before I loose track completely.
Also I want to apologise for the lack of art over the last couple of weeks. The fist week I was stressing too much about the upcoming results day to do much art (I was practically living at my friend's house trying to distract myself by watching insanely scary horror movies). And last week I was on vacation traveling around Italy with my friend Oon (visiting Rome, Florence and Venice - I'm already missing the sun and the gorgeous Italian ice cream... and of course the many art museums). But Now I'm back I'm hoping to get as much art done in the next two weeks as possible.
I'm still working on my Warriors Project - Hawkfrost is now close to completion although is temporarily on hold while I'm working on an entry for the WarriorCatsClaim 's latest contest (of Spottedleaf who is my claimed character). Here is my character list so far:

I'm back! And its summertime :)

Hi everyone - sorry I havnt been on DA and submitted any art since Christmas. I know I promised I would be more active - and I failed miserably. I could give you a load of excuses due to A level exams, uni applications, interviews... but I wont bore you with a list. But anyway - exams are over and I have now officialy finished school for life. 
I have my offer to study at Glasgow Vet School - now I just have to see if I get the grades in August
. All other unis rejected me but I'm still pleased I got a place somewhere in vet school (was actually really supprised to be accepted by Glasgow - I thought that interview went far worse than all the others) 
Anyways... now I have loads of free time on my hands to get back up to speed with my art. I also have loads of peices to upload from art I've done over the last half year - so you can expect lots of art in the upcoming week. Plus I've only just arrived back home after a two week holiday in the Maldives
so I had loads of time to spend drawing whilst on the plane and on the beach. Also the Maldives is a great place for practicing photography. 
However, there is some bad news. Whilst flying back home I left my sketchbook (containing all my best crayon drawings) in my bag along with a pot of jelly-beans. When we got home I found the jelly-bean pot had exploded and the jelly-beans melted all over the sketchbook, glueing all the pages together and basicly killed it. Death by jelly-beans... not a nice way to go - very sticky. Luckily most of the art survived though
Other news: I had my 18th birthday in May 
- which was awesome. However having exams on your birthday really sucks. sometimes I really hate having a birthday in early summer - yes its nice and sunny, but its not much fun if you have to spend all you time stuck inside revising. This is the fourth year in a row its happened so I should probably be used to it by now... but it still sucks.
Also, since I've been off DA for a while, I'm soooooo confused with the whole 'llama badge' thing. What is their purpose? What am I supposed to do with them?. By the way thanks to all the people who gave me llama badges and sorry its taken me so long to say so.
Anyway, I am still working on my warriors project (sorry it is taking me so long - I keep getting distracted) so here is the list so far:
